On Display – The History of Legal Citation Manuals
Frustrated by The Bluebook? For 85 years, law students, lawyers and judges have struggled with the intricate rules of this legal citation manual. Other citation manuals had come before it, such as one published by the Nebraska Supreme Court, and others have followed, such as the Chicago Manual of Legal Citation and the AWLD Citation Manual. Some state jurisdictions, such as New York and Washington, publish their own manual or style sheet.
