Put Sunshine in Your Government

March 12, 2012

March 11 – 17 is “Sunshine Week ,” promoting your right-to-know and open government.  Since 2005,  Sunshine Week has celebrated freedom of information and open public records to ensure that citizens have access to information about and by their governments.  Sunshine Week coincides with James Madison’s birthday on March 16.

The National Security Archive at The George Washington University and the American Library Association are a couple of the many sponsors of Sunshine Week.

Take the popular Ray of Sunshine quiz and see how much you shine!
